Iranian stars Behnush Bakhtiari and Sam Derakhshani are to perform on the stage in Canada.
Directed by Sahra Fathi and written by Rasoul Kahani, 'Night Work' is to be staged in Canada.
The show is to go on the stage on September 8, 14 and 16 in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto.
Born in 1975, Sam Derakhshani began studying Drama at university before leaving his studies unfinished to pursue acting.
Some of the TV series he has appeared in include ‘The Seamen’ (2002), ‘Years of Snow and Violet’ (2006), ‘Prison Bride’ (2007), ‘In the Eye of the Storm’ (2003 – 2009), ‘The Weary-Hearted’ (2009), ‘The Rich and the Poor’ (2010), ‘No Pain, No Gain’ (2011), ‘The Decius City’ (2011), ‘Tell the Truth’ (2012), ‘Matador’ (2013), ‘Pejman’ (2013), ‘The Sound of Rain’ (2013) and ‘It's All There’ (2013).
He has also played in movies such as ‘City of Chaos’ (2005), ‘Ominous Seed’ (2008), ‘The Lighted Path’ (2012) and ‘The Good, the Bad and the Frivolous’ (2017).
Born in 1975, Behnoush Bakhtiari 's TV series debut was ‘Fresh Air’ (1996), directed by Mohammad Rahmanian.
Bakhtiari has taken parts in a great number of movies, including ‘Checkmate’ (2007), ‘Ten Figures’ (2008), ‘The Outcasts 3’ (2010), ‘Hectic Times’ (2011), 'The Carriage' (2013) and ‘Men are not angels’ (2014).
She has also appeared in TV series such as ‘Homeless’ (2004), ‘The Nights of Barareh’ (2005), ‘Checkered’ (2007), ‘The Rich and the Poor’ (2009), ‘Goodbye Child’ (2012), ‘Detour’ (2012), ‘The Good, the Bad and the Ugly’ (2014) and ‘Flower and Nightingale Neighborhood’ (2015).
Bakhtiari was nominated for the Best actress in a Supporting Role award for her appearance in ‘I’ (2015) at the 34th edition of Fajr International Film Festival.
